The title of the post comes from the mouth of none other than Marilyn Rosales, my friend and photographer of this post, telling me about what happens when a bunch of Mexicans get together and play soccer.

Quick snaps before dinner. We’ve been having chicken for dinner literally every night for the last five nights so we decided to get some steaks. Sew glad I’m not a vegetarian anymore. That was bogus, for sure.

Lately, I’ve been spending my free time researching for what I hope to be a book of essays on the Civil War. I went with my Mom down to Port Royal, Virginia to see the 23rd USCTs do some living history, and my friend John Cummings got some pics of me while I was there. Accidental outfit photos!
