Les Femmes Savantes.
This is what I wore to a staging of Molière’s Les Femmes Savantes. All of the french applauded in unison - hilarious! Anthropologie dress, Steve Madden shoes.

La Seine Pants.
I picked up these vintage wool high wasted/wide-legged pants in a little shop in Montmartre. They’re perfect for winter and I’m in love with the color! Zara sheer blouse, J.Crew belt, vintage pants, J.Crew shoes.

La Basilique du Sacré Coeur
Today I visited the Sacré Coeur. It took awhile to get up to it (it sits on a huge hill overlooking Paris) but the view from the top was worth it! Polo Ralph Lauren sweater, American Apparel dress used as shirt, Aritzia trousers, Aritizia belt, J.Crew cuff.

Lucky cat (Chiny-towny).
Today Gaël and I went to Chinatown where I bought my very own lucky cat. We had one when we lived in Japan but it died. Zara sweater, H&M jeans with a hole in the crotch, Zara shoes.

If you like what you see, please recommend here and we can keep that cute puggle in the directory (or maybe even move it up a few pages!) along with Café du Monstre!

Food and Friends
Today my friend Gaël and I saw ‘To Be or Not To Be’ with Jack Benny and Carole Lombard, and afterwards, walked around Le Marais and Bastille and ate delicious food. For starters… Gaël is holding my falafel from the world famous L’As du Falafel, which was absolutely foodgasmic. Then afterwards…   Pistachio gelato (my absolute favorite!) Good day!

Ici repose...
Other famous dead people I saw at Père Lachaise… Colette! Chopin! Proust - I ended up giving him a kiss too, out of pity. His grave tasted gross… Jim Morrison! And last but not least, Edith Piaf (nonnnnnn, rien de riennnnnn…)

Kissing Oscar Wilde.
They say the quickest way to catch a disease in Paris is by kissing Oscar Wilde’s tombstone.  Obviously, as a lover of his work and a good American tourist, I couldn’t not. My kiss (I used Laura Mercier’s Bare Lips…)

Le Beaubourg (je pense...)
Today I went to an amazing museum in Le Marais called Le Beaubourg (at least I think that’s what it’s called…) I literally have never seen so many Matisse’s in one spot in my whole life. It was amazing. And not only was there Matisse but also… Fontaine by Marcel Duchamp! I can’t believe I was standing right in front of it! Another famous piece from the...

Poitiers!
Yesterday I went on a trip to Poitiers, France. It was obviously super different from Paris -but still beautiful in all the ways that small, French towns can be! Michel Foucault lived here! As we got up at 5 to go, coffee was a big must. What was behind me in the case at the restaurant we ate at!
