I just had to tell you that I absolutely love those pants!
Thank you! I would put this in your ask box but I couldn’t find it: I got them in Paris at a vintage store. Ugh, thank you so much for the message. Lately every time I post I lose 1-2 followers. Sad times :(
Unfortunately, I don’t have the plethora of friends willing to take my outfit photos around now that I’ve moved back home - I had to rely on my tripod today and it’s actually impossible to get my outfit in one whole shot.
Me failing attempting to fit into one frame.
American Apparel dress worn as shirt, Anthropologie skirt, Zara Boots, Zara Sweater.
What would you say are the wardrobe essentials for a fall in Paris?
Ah, fall in Paris! I wish we still had it. The ground is now covered in 4 inches of snow (more like ice, actually, thanks to the complete lack of infrastructure for dealing with weather of any kind), but here’s a list of things I would wear (or wore) if/when the weather was better!
Trench. Obvi. With the belt not done up, or even better, if the belt is long enough, loosely tied closed.
Silk scarf. Anything from a vintage Hermès (if you’re lucky enough to find one) or the one-euro scarves from the vintage stores in Le Marais (the gay/Jewish quarter of Paris).
Driving moccasins/loafers, the more masculine looking the better
Harem pants. They’re big here, idk. Please don’t wear them with the things listed above.
Button-up, collared shirts in light blue, white.
And of course, if you can afford it, a Céline bag, or a cheaper alternative, Longchamps is also really big here as well!
My camera is finally here! Thanks a ton to my friend Annie from sending it all the way from Edinburgh! Now I can finally show you guys my pictures from my amazing trip to Dublin, Edinburgh, and London (which unfortch I don’t have pictures for!)
Guess what, les peeps? The camera has been shipped from Scotland at last! When it gets here, you’ll see all my amazing pictures from Dublin (the coolest city I’ve ever visited, really), plus get to see all the amazing vintage finds I’ve gotten here in Paris. Lots of cute new outfit posts to be had. I swear, I swear.
Thanks for sticking with me through this. I love you guys <3 Back to the States a week from tomorrow!
